Responsibilities
- Design social and behavioural change strategies to interrupt poliovirus transmission
- Generate demand for polio vaccination and routine immunisation
- Address vaccine hesitancy, refusals, missed children and behavioural barriers
- Manage and monitor social mobilisation between vaccination rounds
- Provide technical assistance during polio outbreak responses
- Build advocacy partnerships and coordinate government, community and programme stakeholders
- Evaluate communication interventions and use behavioural evidence for decisions
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in social and behavioural change communication, public health, health promotion, community health, sociology, anthropology, psychology, biomedical sciences or a related field
- At least eight years of progressively responsible professional experience
- Experience designing and managing social and behavioural change or social communication programmes
- Experience in immunisation or polio programming
- Fluency in English
