National Consultant – Governance Analysis for PNSN Revision and Triple Nexus Integration

Five-month national consultancy in Niamey to support revision of Niger's National Nutrition Security Policy and action plan by integrating the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, the first 2,000 days, multisector coordination, accountability and financing.

• Analyse existing nutrition policies, strategies and governance arrangements
• Integrate the humanitarian-development-peace nexus into the revised policy and action plan
• Embed the first 2,000 days approach in strategic nutrition priorities
• Strengthen multisector coordination and define measurable sector accountability commitments
• Develop a multisector monitoring framework with nexus-sensitive indicators
• Prepare a costed action plan with sustainable financing mechanisms
• Propose communication, advocacy and resource-mobilisation strategies

• Master's degree in social sciences, public health, nutrition or an equivalent field
• At least five years of experience in nutrition governance
• Demonstrated policy-development experience
• Experience working in fragile contexts
• Strong knowledge of the humanitarian-development-peace nexus
• Excellent analytical and drafting skills
• Professional proficiency in French
