Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality advocacy materials and communication outputs
- Prepare concept notes, methodology and a communication strategy aligned with project objectives
- Provide technical assistance in media engagement and relations
- Produce visibility, outreach and reporting materials including media coverage, press releases and event summaries
- Submit periodic progress reports and communication deliverables
- Prepare a final report with gaps, lessons learned and actionable recommendations
- Travel regularly to RSLAF locations across Sierra Leone as required
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in communication, public policy and governance, gender or women's studies, international development or a related field, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of experience in communications, advocacy or public relations
- At least five years of experience in communications, events or campaign management or a related field, preferably with international organisations or companies
- Experience and knowledge of social media use
- Experience conducting research and analysis or review of social, economic and public policy trends
- Fluency in English
