Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate a participatory strategy development process for the Alliance
- Assess current and emerging child protection in humanitarian action needs, trends, opportunities, risks and challenges
- Assess the Alliance’s achievements, strengths, limitations and comparative advantage
- Define the Alliance’s future role and strategic positioning in the humanitarian ecosystem
- Build consensus among Alliance stakeholders on future priorities and strategic directions
- Produce a validated strategic framework to guide the Alliance’s work from 2027 for 3 to 5 years
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field, preferably International Development, Development Studies, International Relations, Human Rights or International Law
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in strategic planning
- Significant experience facilitating organisational or network strategy development processes
- Experience facilitating multi-stakeholder consultations and consensus-building processes
- Experience working with global networks, alliances, areas of responsibility or membership-based organisations
- Experience integrating localisation, participation and equity considerations into strategic planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
