Responsibilities

  • Research progress and gaps across gender-related SDG indicators in Arab States
  • Collect recent national data and assess indicator availability
  • Consult national statistical offices, women's institutions and policymakers
  • Aggregate and analyse regional gender-related SDG data in Excel
  • Draft the Arab States Gender Snapshot report from research findings
  • Revise the report in response to UN Women and ESCWA review
  • Support data visualisation, final editing and print layout with communications teams

Requirements

  • Master's degree in statistics, demography, econometrics, gender studies, social science or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least seven years of experience designing and executing gender-data research projects
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
