Overview
Maintains electrical and electromechanical systems at the Vienna International Centre. The technician installs and repairs wiring, lighting, switchboards and machinery, supports construction projects and contractors, tests work against technical standards, records work orders, and follows strict safety procedures.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical devices, lighting, sockets and distribution systems
- Assemble, test and repair electromechanical machinery and access systems
- Support electrical construction projects and supervise contractor access
- Diagnose standard faults in wiring, controls and switchboards
- Apply safety, security, environmental and quality standards
- Record completed work in the facility work-order platform
Requirements
- Secondary education with electrical apprenticeship and journeyman certificate plus two years of experience, or a relevant university degree with one year of experience
- Ability to use email, internet, spreadsheets and word processing
- Good physical condition for lifting, climbing and work in confined positions
- Working knowledge of English and German
- Availability for shifts and irregular hours
