Responsibilities
- Promote the participation and engagement of people living in the community
- Support the organisation of meetings, workshops and assemblies for social participation
- Communicate project information clearly and efficiently to the community
- Promote community participation in decision-making and project implementation
- Publicise the programme within the communities
- Attend project meetings and participate in local meetings as requested
- Ensure technical activities align with the quality expectations of the Agency
- Prepare and deliver a monthly activity report
Requirements
- Secondary school education or two additional years of relevant technical experience
- Minimum three years of experience in community engagement or data collection
- Experience in data collection in public projects or vulnerable communities in Rio de Janeiro
- Good computer skills in Windows and Office packages required
- Fluency in Portuguese required

Additional info
- Contract duration two months, remunerated at SB-2/3 UNDP Brazil salary scale as a monthly allowance
- Only nationals of Brazil or holders of a permanent Brazil visa may apply
