Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support design and implementation of Communication and Information programme activities in Cambodia
  • Prepare correspondence and follow up with ministries and partners
  • Identify local implementing partners and monitor project activities
  • Develop needs assessments, technical papers and policy briefs on access to information and freedom of expression
  • Organise meetings, workshops and trainings with logistical and administrative materials
  • Support procurement and supervision of consultants, experts and service providers
  • Collect, compile and analyse data on media development and freedom of expression
  • Prepare project briefs, progress reports and public information outputs in English and Khmer

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in communications, journalism, media studies, international relations, public policy or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in programme coordination in an international organisation, UN system or NGO setting
  • Substantive knowledge and experience in media development, press freedom, journalist safety or related areas
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, media and information literacy, AI ethics or digital inclusion in Cambodia or the region
  • Experience engaging government, civil society, media organisations or international partners
  • Excellent written and oral English and Khmer
