Responsibilities
- Contribute to conceptual design and development of mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Produce 3D models, manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials
- Support manufacturing, assembly, testing and installation of equipment
- Collaborate with physicists, engineers and technicians on engineering solutions
- Participate in technology development for high-voltage pulsed power and accelerator systems
Requirements
- Studies focused on mechanical engineering
- Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation by the application deadline
- Highest educational qualification must be a bachelor's or master's degree and not a PhD
- University degree required
- No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
- Nationality of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State, excluding specified ceiling-restricted nationalities for 2026
