Responsibilities

  • Contribute to conceptual design and development of mechanical and electromechanical systems
  • Produce 3D models, manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials
  • Support manufacturing, assembly, testing and installation of equipment
  • Collaborate with physicists, engineers and technicians on engineering solutions
  • Participate in technology development for high-voltage pulsed power and accelerator systems

Requirements

  • Studies focused on mechanical engineering
  • Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation by the application deadline
  • Highest educational qualification must be a bachelor's or master's degree and not a PhD
  • University degree required
  • No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
  • Nationality of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State, excluding specified ceiling-restricted nationalities for 2026
