Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop the layout and typesetting for an 11-chapter institutional report
- Apply the established visual language and UN-Habitat branding guidelines
- Create a reusable layout framework for consistent chapter production
- Organise text, images, charts, tables, maps and other visual elements
- Develop infographics, diagrams, icons and supporting graphics where needed
- Incorporate revisions requested during technical review and approval
- Deliver editable source files and print-ready and digital-ready outputs
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, journalism, public relations or a related field, or three additional years of relevant experience beyond the experience requirement
- At least three years of progressively responsible graphic-design experience in Brazil
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop and Canva
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace
- Fluency in Portuguese
Desired Criteria
- Graphic-design experience in development or non-profit projects
- Familiarity with urban issues and global urban agendas
- Previous experience in the United Nations system or another international agency
