Responsibilities
- Conduct applied research on housing adequacy, accessibility, cultural relevance and sustainable urban development
- Design quantitative and qualitative methods for housing data collection, analysis and visualisation
- Map and manage Canadian and international housing data sources
- Develop knowledge tools, policy briefs, webinar content and capacity-building materials
- Create accessible graphical, interactive and video formats for research findings
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and consultations on inclusive housing frameworks
- Build partnerships with academic, Indigenous, community and housing-data organisations
- Monitor research outputs and prepare reports, recommendations and proposals
Requirements
- Master's degree in urban studies, housing policy, urban planning, geography, economics, international development, social policy or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of experience
- Minimum two years of experience in research methods, quantitative and qualitative analysis, survey design and communication of findings
- Ability to conduct applied research on housing adequacy, accessibility and climate-smart housing
- Ability to synthesise complex evidence for policymakers, practitioners and diverse audiences
- Canadian citizenship, residence or permission to work in Canada
- Fluency in spoken and written English
