Overview

Supports UNDP Bhutan’s climate-resilient urban and disaster-resilient infrastructure projects through research, document control, workshop logistics, stakeholder coordination and basic data analysis for project teams, municipalities and government counterparts.

Responsibilities

  • Research climate-resilient urban development, planning policy and sustainable infrastructure
  • Compile and maintain project documents, reports, records and knowledge products
  • Support review and formatting of technical documents and briefs
  • Coordinate logistics and participation for workshops, training and stakeholder meetings
  • Prepare meeting notes, minutes and follow-up action lists
  • Gather project data from municipalities, field offices and partners and conduct preliminary analysis
  • Maintain project data and information systems and provide administrative support

Requirements

  • Current enrolment in a university degree, final-year enrolment, or graduation within the past year with internship commencement within one year
  • Bhutanese nationality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working communication capability in English and Dzongkha
