Internship – Communication and Media

Supports communications for the IAEA Department of Nuclear Sciences and Applications by creating web, social-media and multimedia content, gathering information for reports and outreach, preparing presentations and documenting events while gaining practical experience in an international setting.

Department: NA Programme Coordination Group

• Create material for departmental web pages and social-media channels
• Maintain the department's social-media presence
• Collect and review information for departmental reports
• Prepare presentations and public-information products
• Gather information for media engagement and general outreach
• Support departmental events and take photographs

• At least 20 years of age
• At least three years of full-time university studies towards a first degree, or graduation within the past year
• No previous participation in the IAEA internship programme
• University degree or studies in communication, journalism, media or a related field
• Good written and spoken English
• Two signed recommendation letters

• Internship duration is 12 months
• Recruitment is not fully competitive
