Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop risk-profiling and targeting training modules, presentations, exercises and participant materials
  • Deliver radiation and nuclear risk-profiling training exercises in Malaysia and Indonesia
  • Provide technical guidance to participants on identifying, preventing and responding to radiological and nuclear threats
  • Prepare post-training reports covering activities, participant engagement, findings, recommendations and lessons learned
  • Create scenario-based exercises, assessment tools and supporting reference materials for border-management training

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in law, criminology, public administration, political science, international relations or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least 10 years of relevant border-management and law-enforcement experience
  • Experience training law-enforcement officers in an international environment
  • Experience using and deploying risk-profiling and targeting equipment
  • Fluency in oral and written English

Desired Criteria

  • Understanding of criminal networks in Asia and Africa
  • Experience working with the UN or other international organisations
  • Experience developing training modules or curricula for international organisations
