Overview

The consultant will design and deliver a Training of Trainers programme that helps Jordanian education personnel apply UNESCO's Career Guidance Model and Manual for TVET. The assignment strengthens gender-sensitive, inclusive career guidance and supports future roll-out in vocational schools.

Responsibilities

  • Consult UNESCO and Ministry of Education counterparts on participants, objectives, modality and expected post-training application
  • Review the Career Guidance Model and Manual and translate it into a practical ToT structure
  • Design a full ToT package with agenda, slides, facilitator notes, handouts, exercises, assessments and tools
  • Integrate labour market information, TVET pathways, gender-sensitive guidance and employer engagement into the training package
  • Deliver interactive ToT sessions using case studies, simulations, group work, role plays and action planning
  • Prepare a final report with feedback, assessment results, lessons learned and roll-out recommendations

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in education, international education, career development, counselling, psychology, organisational change, workforce development, TVET, education policy, social sciences or a related field
  • At least ten years of relevant professional experience in career guidance, employability, workforce education, TVET or school-to-work transition programming
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training, ToT, workshops or capacity-building programmes
  • Proven experience developing career guidance, employability or job-search manuals, toolkits, facilitator guides or practical implementation tools
  • Proven experience engaging senior education stakeholders, ministries, development partners or education institutions
  • Excellent English, including strong drafting, documentation and reporting skills
