Overview
Implements Ghana’s second-tranche HPMP activities by coordinating RAC-sector stakeholders, training technicians, promoting low-global-warming-potential technologies and strengthening refrigerant containment. The consultancy also leads outreach and reports progress under the Montreal Protocol.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate a detailed RAC-sector workplan with national and technical stakeholders
- Deliver leadership and professional-development seminars for RAC associations
- Train technicians in equipment use, refrigerant containment and low-GWP technologies
- Organise awareness workshops and mass-media events on efficient RAC equipment
- Support distribution of equipment, toolkits and Montreal Protocol materials
- Monitor implementation challenges and recommend corrective action
- Prepare periodic progress reports and a final project report
Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science or a related field, or a first degree with two additional years of experience
- At least five years of progressively responsible RAC, engineering or environmental experience
- Technical knowledge of refrigerant containment, recovery, recycling and low-GWP refrigerants
- Data-analysis and management skills
- Experience consulting government, private-sector and training stakeholders
- Fluency in English
