ICT Specialist

The ICT Specialist will design and support technology solutions for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, unmanned aircraft and counter-UAS services at the UN Global Service Centre. The role combines solution design, technical documentation, training, procurement support and field deployment.

Department: Technology Development Unit, Technology Development, Design & Planning Section

• Design ICT solutions for ISR, unmanned aircraft and counter-UAS services
• Develop service designs, technical documentation and knowledge products
• Create and deliver technical training for operational users
• Support procurement, vendor engagement and evaluation of technology solutions
• Deploy to field locations for implementation and technical support

• Master’s degree with five years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree with seven years
• At least two years of experience with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems
• At least one year of experience with unmanned aircraft systems
• At least one year of experience with counter-UAS systems
• Fluency in English

• International Individual Contractor Agreement at ICS-10/IICA-2
• Contract is open-ended subject to organizational requirements, funds and satisfactory performance
• Duty travel to field locations may be required
