ICT Officer

Supports UNOG software solutions by analysing requirements, developing and maintaining applications, preparing documentation, testing systems and training users on assigned IT products.

Department: Global Portfolios Office

• Review client requirements and translate them into application features
• Assess application integrations and recommend practical solutions
• Support design, development and rollout of application solutions
• Prepare and update specifications and user documentation
• Contribute to data models, databases, data warehouses and ETL processes
• Maintain and troubleshoot user systems and provide technical support
• Deploy workflows and online services using Azure and Power Platform
• Support system testing and user acceptance testing
• Prepare handover materials and user training

• Advanced university degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, statistics or a related field, or first-level university degree with two years of qualifying experience
• Relevant experience in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of computer information systems
• Experience developing and supporting applications using Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Power Platform or Azure
• Experience in high-level programming languages such as Java, Python or Javascript
• Experience in technical writing
• Fluency in English

• Duration is open-ended subject to organisational requirements, funding availability and satisfactory performance
