Driver

Provides safe and efficient transportation for authorised personnel and commodities in Benin, maintaining assigned vehicles, supporting field deliveries and assisting with basic office and administrative tasks when required.

• Transport authorised personnel and deliver items or commodities safely
• Meet official personnel and visitors and assist with visa and customs formalities
• Maintain vehicle logbooks and report mechanical status to supervisors
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, equipped and in good working condition
• Follow rules for field deliveries and accident reporting
• Perform basic office tasks, deliveries, mail services and bill payments when required

• Completion of secondary school education
• Formal driver training with a valid driver’s licence or certification to operate the assigned vehicle
• Two or more years of work experience as a driver with a demonstrated safe driving record
• Fluency in the UN language in use at the duty station and the duty station language if different

• Duty stations include Cotonou, Bohicon, Natitingou and Kandi; non-taxonomy cities were not added as city tags
