Overview
Two online volunteers will complete the Freedom to Decide Movement’s founding governance and membership package for youth-led organisations in Cameroon. The assignments turn draft charters, electoral rules, committee procedures and membership systems into accessible documents ready for member negotiation and ratification.

Responsibilities
- Refine the founding charter and ensure internal consistency
- Develop electoral rules implementing steering-committee composition guarantees
- Draft terms of reference and meeting procedures for movement bodies
- Create membership applications, admission workflows and register templates
- Develop orientation, annual-return and good-standing review materials
- Produce plain-language versions for readers without legal training
- Review documents for accessibility and consistent terminology
- Revise materials following feedback from movement leaders and members
Requirements
- Experience or strong interest matching either governance drafting or membership-system design
- Strong writing and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good written English
- Ability to work remotely, respond to feedback and meet deadlines
- Commitment to rights-based, non-discriminatory and do-no-harm approaches
