Overview
The UN Resident Coordinator System seeks a Development Coordinator in Pristina to lead the UN Kosovo Team, coordinate implementation of the Cooperation Framework and 2030 Agenda, align UN support with Kosovo priorities, mobilize partnerships and financing, and oversee the coordinator's office.

Responsibilities
- Represent the UN development system and engage senior government, civil-society and development partners
- Lead and coordinate the UN Kosovo Team's operational development activities and Cooperation Framework delivery
- Guide joint analysis, risk prevention and system-wide support for the Sustainable Development Goals
- Build strategic partnerships and mobilize public and private financing for joint UN priorities
- Coordinate UN development work with UNMIK under the applicable status-neutral framework
- Manage and provide strategic oversight to the Development Coordinator's Office and common operations
Requirements
- A master's degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, or an accepted first degree with a suitable combination of qualifications and experience
- At least 15 years of substantive international leadership experience
- At least five cumulative years of country-level development, human-rights, rule-of-law, peacebuilding or humanitarian work outside the candidate's own country
- Membership in the Resident Coordinator Pool
