Constitution d'un corpus en Lingala dans le cadre du projet ELIKYA 2

Builds a Lingala-language corpus for the ELIKYA 2 artificial-intelligence project through community-based data collection. Volunteers gather, transcribe, translate, annotate and validate text and audio, document activities and engage local communities to strengthen inclusive language technologies in the DRC.

• Collect Lingala texts, expressions, dialogues and audio recordings
• Transcribe and translate content in Lingala
• Validate the linguistic quality of collected data
• Annotate and structure language data for the corpus
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve corpus quality
• Raise local-community awareness of the ELIKYA project
• Document activities and prepare regular reports
• Participate in training on digital tools and data-collection methods

• Age between 18 and 35 years
• Good spoken or written command of Lingala
• Interest in digital technology or artificial intelligence
• Ability to use a smartphone or computer
• Accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
• Availability for the full assignment

• Two thousand volunteers will be mobilised in Kinshasa and Mbandaka
