Responsibilities

  • Lead the GenU Global Team to deliver the partnership vision and strategy
  • Represent Generation Unlimited with governments, private sector, civil society, media and supporters
  • Oversee technical assistance, innovations, fundraising, communications, youth engagement, finance and human resources
  • Build cooperative public and private partnerships and networks
  • Drive global resource mobilisation and donor reporting for youth programmes
  • Maintain effective governance, operating model and risk management culture
  • Build and maintain a high-performing values-based organisation

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree or equivalent in social sciences, business administration or management, public administration, education or another related field
  • Minimum fifteen years of successful senior leadership and management experience, ideally as a chief executive in a complex operating environment
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international or multilateral organisational environment
  • Track record in growing revenue and influence in a demanding and complex environment
  • Proficiency in oral and written English
  • Willingness to travel globally
