Overview

Supports UNRWA’s cash-for-work project by resolving complaints, maintaining programme databases, tracking scope, budget, timelines and quality, producing guidance and communications, and reporting corrective actions so labour-intensive assistance is delivered accountably to eligible communities in Lebanon.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resolution of cash-for-work complaints and prepare responses to project queries
  • Develop operating procedures, eligibility criteria, guidance and lessons-learned records
  • Implement the project communication plan and coordinate communication materials and events
  • Maintain project databases, archives and quality-assurance checks
  • Track scope, budget, schedule, quality and delivery risks against project plans
  • Report performance issues and recommend corrective actions to project officers

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, public administration, development studies, project management, international relations, social sciences, communications or a related field
  • At least two years of relevant experience in project support, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, community involvement, communications or reporting
  • English and Arabic language proficiency at the published United Nations Language Framework levels
  • Residence within commuting distance of Beirut and authorisation to work in Lebanon
