Overview

Provides budget monitoring, grant analysis, finance and administrative support for WFP’s climate risk management work in Peshawar, ensuring accurate records, compliance and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Review budget plans and monitor project financial performance
  • Analyse fund and grant balances and refer discrepancies for action
  • Support pipeline management and prevent resource breaks
  • Enter accurate budget and finance data in corporate systems
  • Prepare records, files and periodic financial reports
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on funds management processes
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to staff on budget and fund management
  • Support finance procedures, payments, invoices, accounting systems and cash controls

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school education
  • Post-secondary certificate in a related functional area
  • Minimum five years of prior experience in budget monitoring or finance, preferably in the UN or other INGOs
  • Fluency in oral and written English and Urdu
  • Pakistan nationality
