Job Description
Provides technical resource-mobilisation support to Purewish Foundation Uganda's plan for a permanent school serving vulnerable children. The volunteer researches institutional funders, develops donor-ready proposals and communication materials, builds a funding pipeline and helps articulate sustainable school infrastructure, education and community-development investment without soliciting donations directly.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research foundations, development agencies and education funders aligned with the permanent-school initiative
- Maintain a database of prospective donors, eligibility criteria, priorities and deadlines
- Identify funding opportunities for school infrastructure, land acquisition and inclusive education
- Develop concept notes and funding proposals for the foundation initiative
- Prepare project narratives, goals, theories of change, logical frameworks and monitoring indicators
- Support realistic budgets and budget narratives for land, construction and learning facilities
- Develop a resource-mobilisation strategy, funding pipeline and donor information package
- Create project summaries, presentations, infographics and communication materials
Role Requirements
- Resource mobilisation and partnership-development skills
- Proposal writing, concept-note development or grant-support experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Networking and stakeholder-engagement abilities
- Research and information-analysis skills
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations
