Job Description

Provides technical resource-mobilisation support to Purewish Foundation Uganda's plan for a permanent school serving vulnerable children. The volunteer researches institutional funders, develops donor-ready proposals and communication materials, builds a funding pipeline and helps articulate sustainable school infrastructure, education and community-development investment without soliciting donations directly.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Research foundations, development agencies and education funders aligned with the permanent-school initiative
  • Maintain a database of prospective donors, eligibility criteria, priorities and deadlines
  • Identify funding opportunities for school infrastructure, land acquisition and inclusive education
  • Develop concept notes and funding proposals for the foundation initiative
  • Prepare project narratives, goals, theories of change, logical frameworks and monitoring indicators
  • Support realistic budgets and budget narratives for land, construction and learning facilities
  • Develop a resource-mobilisation strategy, funding pipeline and donor information package
  • Create project summaries, presentations, infographics and communication materials

Role Requirements

  • Resource mobilisation and partnership-development skills
