Associate Senior Product Owner

Leads the strategy and delivery of AI-enabled financial-management products, translating operational finance needs into scalable data, automation and machine-learning solutions. The role strengthens fiduciary controls, audit readiness, financial reporting and responsible innovation across World Bank operations.

• Define product strategy for AI-enabled operational financial workflows
• Prioritise the product backlog for AI-driven financial tools using SAFe and Scrum
• Oversee model delivery from training-data preparation through monitoring and feedback
• Ensure automated workflows meet risk, privacy, cybersecurity and audit standards
• Develop responsible-AI controls for explainability, bias mitigation and human oversight
• Design anomaly detection for fraud, duplicate payments and accounting errors
• Coordinate data pipelines, feature stores and cloud repositories with engineering teams
• Lead change management with finance, audit, treasury and technology stakeholders

• Master's degree in a relevant field with at least eight years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with at least ten years of progressive experience
• Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, natural language processing and generative-AI frameworks
• Experience with machine-learning lifecycle, deployment pipelines, monitoring and evaluation
• Proficiency in cloud data architectures, SQL, data warehousing and API integrations
• Track record delivering AI or data-intensive enterprise applications as a Product Owner or Product Manager
• Proficiency in English

• Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or Certified Scrum Product Owner
• Experience building large-language-model agents or advanced copilot tools in regulated financial environments
• Programming or prototyping experience with Python, R or SQL
• Knowledge of IFRS, IPSAS, public-sector financial management or World Bank operational financial policies
