Responsibilities
- Plan and implement project activities and ensure timely delivery of outputs and expected results
- Identify implementation challenges, propose work-plan adjustments and escalate issues requiring managerial decisions
- Organize capacity-building events, diagnostic workshops and community security events
- Engage criminal justice actors, civil society organizations, national authorities and at-risk communities
- Support thematic papers and guidance notes on addressing hate crime and supporting hate crime victims
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workshops and consultations with relevant partners
- Contribute to project visibility in line with OSCE and donor requirements
- Draft concept notes, background papers, agendas and terms of reference for experts
Requirements
- Minimum first-level university degree in human rights, international relations, development studies or education
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in human rights, anti-discrimination, and/or hate crime/security, or 2 years with a relevant second-level university degree
- Demonstrated experience implementing and developing projects, in particular donor-funded projects
- Proven experience organizing training workshops and supporting training of criminal justice and civil society actors
- Proven experience working with state authorities and representatives of diverse communities
- Understanding of hate crime and its impact on individuals, communities and societies
- Excellent analytical, drafting and research skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Additional info
- Extra-budgetary position
- Initial contract is for one year and renewable until the project ends
- Expected project duration is until March 2028
- Selected candidate should commit to being available for the duration of the project
- Monthly remuneration is approximately EUR 5,600 depending on post adjustment and family status
- OSCE salaries are exempt from taxation in Poland
- Social benefits include participation in Cigna medical insurance and the OSCE Provident Fund
- Organization contributes 15% of salary to the Provident Fund and the employee contributes 7.5%
- Candidates found suitable may be placed on a three-year roster for fixed-term posts
- Maximum period of service in this post is seven years
