Responsibilities
- Coordinate project implementation and ensure activities meet project objectives
- Design and implement action plans and timelines
- Monitor budget implementation and donor compliance
- Maintain contacts with beneficiaries and interlocutors on young women's public participation
- Draft activity, technical, progress and donor reports
- Plan and organise project activities, events and steering-board meetings
- Support communications, outreach, visibility and dissemination of project outputs
Requirements
- First-level university degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Social and Political Sciences, Law, Interdisciplinary Studies or another relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years of professional-level experience with international, inter-governmental or civil society organisations
- Experience preferably in gender equality, women's empowerment or women's public participation
- Excellent project management knowledge
- Experience working on projects funded by multiple donors
- Practical experience with Microsoft applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and at least one local language
