Overview

Coordinates an extra-budgetary project advancing young women's role in inter-community dialogue and trust-building, including implementation, reporting, events and visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project implementation and ensure activities meet project objectives
  • Design and implement action plans and timelines
  • Monitor budget implementation and donor compliance
  • Maintain contacts with beneficiaries and interlocutors on young women's public participation
  • Draft activity, technical, progress and donor reports
  • Plan and organise project activities, events and steering-board meetings
  • Support communications, outreach, visibility and dissemination of project outputs

Requirements

  • First-level university degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Social and Political Sciences, Law, Interdisciplinary Studies or another relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of professional-level experience with international, inter-governmental or civil society organisations
  • Experience preferably in gender equality, women's empowerment or women's public participation
  • Excellent project management knowledge
  • Experience working on projects funded by multiple donors
  • Practical experience with Microsoft applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and at least one local language
