Responsibilities

  • Design a common data model for regional and global foundational-learning assessments
  • Build reproducible pipelines that extract and transform assessment metadata and results
  • Harmonize inconsistent structures, names and codes across reports, spreadsheets and microdata
  • Create reference datasets used by the minimum viable product learning portal
  • Prepare standardized tables for ingestion into UNICEF’s International Data Warehouse
  • Scale processing across TIMSS, PIRLS, EGRA, EGMA, MICS and other assessment programmes

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science, information management, data science, public policy or a related field
  • Five years of experience with data structures, analysis and pipeline development
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, GitHub, R and Python
  • Experience with household surveys or large-scale national or international assessment datasets
  • English proficiency
