Job Description

Delivers vocational civil-engineering education at UNRWA training centres in Lebanon. The instructor develops inclusive curricula and practical learning, assesses trainee competence, links courses with labour-market needs and embeds quality, safety, green and digital skills across the training cycle.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Design learning programmes, curricula and training materials for the teaching specialisation
  • Deliver school-based and work-based learning in classrooms, laboratories, workshops and workplaces
  • Prepare inclusive lesson plans and adapt learning for trainees with disabilities and special needs
  • Design and conduct formative and summative knowledge and practice assessments
  • Build links with employers and analyse labour-market information for training courses
  • Apply quality-assurance processes across the training cycle
  • Integrate green, digital and occupational-safety skills into learning delivery

Role Requirements

  • Four-year university degree in civil engineering or a relevant field of specialisation
  • English and Arabic at the stated UN language levels
  • Residence in Lebanon within commuting distance of the duty station and authorisation to work there
