Overview
Leads FAO’s Caribbean subregional office and represents the Organization where no resident representative exists. The coordinator sets strategy, directs programmes and resources, mobilizes partnerships and funding, supports policy dialogue and oversees staff safety and office performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead subregional strategy, programme development, implementation, monitoring and reporting
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and human, financial, operational and security resources
- Represent FAO and build partnerships with governments, donors, UN entities, civil society and regional institutions
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in a technical field related to FAO’s work
- At least twelve years of relevant programme-development and management experience, including internationally
- Working knowledge of English and intermediate knowledge of another official FAO language
- Proven leadership and management capability
