Responsibilities

  • Define segment-based value propositions linked to UNOPS service offerings and partner needs
  • Identify and prioritise key partners within assigned partner segments
  • Develop partner segment strategies using market intelligence and growth opportunity analysis
  • Review segment portfolios for strategic alignment, value and balance
  • Advise key partner leads and partner-facing personnel on engagement approaches and portfolio development
  • Produce segment-specific marketing materials including qualification briefs
  • Guide analysis from dashboards, datasets and reports to generate partner and business intelligence
  • Strengthen quality standards, guidance, training and knowledge sharing for partner-facing products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with 9 years of relevant experience, or master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with 7 years of relevant experience
  • Deep expertise and a strong track record in partnership development, segment strategy or portfolio growth for UN agencies, international financial institutions, multilateral and regional development banks, or bilateral and multilateral donors
  • Working knowledge of one or more additional partner segments, particularly south-south cooperation, philanthropy or the private sector
  • Progressively responsible experience in strategic partnerships, business development or portfolio management within international or similarly complex organisations
  • Experience developing partner or market segment strategies, value propositions and portfolio growth supported by business intelligence and market analysis
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders, managing partner-facing processes and strengthening quality standards through guidance, training and knowledge sharing
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and in development or humanitarian contexts
  • Fluency in English
