Responsibilities

  • Organise and attend meetings with government, private-sector and UN partners in Japan
  • Draft minutes and follow up on partner meetings
  • Research potential partnerships with new Japanese stakeholders
  • Summarise country data, partner profiles, UNOPS projects and market trends
  • Review, edit and translate documents assigned by the Head of Office
  • Maintain Tokyo Liaison Office web, intranet and social media content
  • Coordinate with UNOPS country offices on Japan-funded project monitoring, reporting and closure
  • Support missions, events, procurement, payments and visibility materials

Requirements

  • Enrolment in a bachelor, master or PhD programme, or graduation from such studies within three years before the internship application date
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Fluency in Japanese is required
