Responsibilities
- Organise and attend meetings with government, private-sector and UN partners in Japan
- Draft minutes and follow up on partner meetings
- Research potential partnerships with new Japanese stakeholders
- Summarise country data, partner profiles, UNOPS projects and market trends
- Review, edit and translate documents assigned by the Head of Office
- Maintain Tokyo Liaison Office web, intranet and social media content
- Coordinate with UNOPS country offices on Japan-funded project monitoring, reporting and closure
- Support missions, events, procurement, payments and visibility materials
Requirements
- Enrolment in a bachelor, master or PhD programme, or graduation from such studies within three years before the internship application date
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Japanese is required
