Responsibilities

  • Design and roll out rapid skills-needs assessments at global, regional and country levels
  • Generate labour-market evidence for education planning and prioritisation
  • Support PROSPECTS countries to develop or refine national skills strategies
  • Align skills strategies with education-system reforms and financing opportunities
  • Strengthen lower-secondary and upper-secondary programme delivery
  • Advance competency-based curricula and youth skills programmes
  • Support community-based training for out-of-school and vulnerable populations
  • Coordinate governments, development partners and private-sector skills actors

Requirements

  • Master's degree in TVET, education, development studies, monitoring and evaluation or a related field
  • At least eight years of professional experience strengthening education systems with a strong focus on TVET, skills development and secondary education
  • Extensive knowledge of TVET, education, programme management, digital-system development or education technology
  • Experience working with governments, development partners and private-sector actors on skills ecosystems, school-to-work transitions or TVET reform
  • Proficiency in English
