Senior Officer, AI Cloud and Security

The senior officer secures IFRC’s AI and cloud environment by managing AI platforms, reviewing models and data pipelines for policy and regulatory compliance, automating Microsoft Purview controls, strengthening Azure security and advising leaders on emerging AI risks and safeguards.

Department: AI and Data Unit

• Manage AI development, testing and production platforms
• Implement secure model deployment and monitoring
• Review AI applications for policy and regulatory compliance
• Lead AI security risk assessments
• Maintain model data lineage and governance
• Automate Microsoft Purview security workflows
• Monitor Azure security and access controls
• Advise leadership on emerging AI risks

• Degree in computer science, information security, data science or a related field
• At least seven years of AI or machine-learning development and deployment
• At least five years in cloud security and data governance
• Experience implementing AI security frameworks
• Expertise in AI lifecycle management and MLOps
• Experience with generative AI and large language models
• Fluent spoken and written English

• Duty station will be confirmed in a country where IFRC has legal status
