(Senior) Industry Specialist – AgTech

Develops and executes IFC's AgTech investment approach for emerging markets. The specialist maps sector opportunities, leads investment due diligence and technical advice, and builds partnerships that strengthen climate-resilient agrifood systems, scalable technology solutions and high-impact private-sector investments.

• Develop AgTech investment strategy and sector priorities
• Map AgTech companies and investment themes
• Conduct investment due diligence and appraisal analysis
• Advise investment teams and external clients on sector practice
• Supervise technical consultants supporting due diligence
• Represent IFC at sector meetings and build industry knowledge

• Master's degree in a related field
• At least 15 years of operational experience including 10 years in AgTech
• Early-stage investment, venture capital or private-equity experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Willingness to undertake extensive international travel
