Overview

Provides financial, procurement, travel, logistics and administrative support to UNDP's elections and women's political participation projects, maintaining Quantum transactions, payment and asset records, project documentation and knowledge products for timely, compliant programme delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project financial transactions and contribute to work plans, implementation plans and budget revisions
  • Prepare procurement, human resources and travel requisitions and follow pending approvals and payments
  • Compile complete supporting documentation for procurement and recruitment processes
  • Coordinate workshop logistics, service providers, registration materials and training documentation
  • Maintain payment trackers, project assets, supplies, inventories and filing systems
  • Support risk management, financial disbursement and procurement of goods and services
  • Compile project knowledge, data and lessons and distribute products to partners and communities of practice

Requirements

  • Secondary education with seven years of relevant administrative or project experience, or bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or a related field with four years of relevant experience
  • Experience using computers, office software and web-based management systems
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages
  • Fluency in English and Tok Pisin
