Project Analyst

Provides portfolio data, reporting and implementation support for ADB loans, grants and technical assistance in Lao PDR, helping project teams monitor performance, compliance and documentation.

Department: Lao PDR Resident Mission

• Maintain project and sector portfolio databases using ADB systems
• Collect, analyse and consolidate portfolio performance data
• Prepare reports for portfolio monitoring and country portfolio reviews
• Assist project officers in monitoring implementation progress and shortfalls
• Support missions, account reconciliation and loan covenant compliance
• Review audited project financial statements and follow up with executing agencies
• Prepare procurement, disbursement and project administration documentation

• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, financial management or related fields
• At least five years of relevant work experience including related experience in international agencies
• Knowledge and understanding of operational processes and procedures of ADB or other international organisations
• Ability to undertake research and analysis, organise data and prepare notes, papers and report sections
• Proficiency in Word, Excel spreadsheets, graphics and database applications
• Excellent verbal and written English communication proficiency

• Local staff position open only to nationals and permanent residents of Lao PDR
• Selected applicants are subject to a one-year probationary period
• Fixed-term appointment initially up to three years with possible renewal
