  • Synthesize operational data and context into strategic recommendations
  • Coordinate regional priorities across functions and country offices
  • Backstop emergency preparedness and response issues
  • Track risks, decisions, actions and follow-up requirements
  • Maintain information flow between field and headquarters teams
  • Prepare briefing notes, talking points and analytical products

Requirements

  • Relevant advanced university degree
  • Six years of relevant progressive experience
  • Two years of emergency field experience
  • Humanitarian coordination and UN-system knowledge
  • Strategy, policy and programme-management experience
  • English at level C
