Programme Analyst

Strengthens UNDP Myanmar programme quality through assurance, risk-informed oversight, monitoring, learning and technical support across community governance, local economic recovery and resilience priorities in a complex operating environment.

• Review programme and project design for theories of change, results frameworks and strategic alignment
• Provide quality assurance inputs to work plans, project documents, revisions and results reporting
• Assess political, social, economic, climate and risk analysis in planning documents and policy briefs
• Track fiduciary, delivery, partner and reputational risks and support corrective action
• Review documentation before senior management approval for completeness, quality and compliance
• Analyse partnership and funding landscapes to identify opportunities and delivery risks
• Coordinate communication and knowledge management across country office units, field teams and projects
• Advise project teams on safeguards, risk management, monitoring and evaluation and assurance processes

• Advanced university degree in development studies, public administration, economics, social sciences or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least two years of relevant experience with a master's degree or four years with a bachelor's degree in programme management, assurance, monitoring and evaluation, compliance, risk management or related development, humanitarian or public sector work
• Demonstrated experience supporting quality assurance, results-based management, monitoring and reporting of development programmes or projects
• Fluency in English and Burmese
