Responsibilities
- Coordinate review, endorsement and tracking of mission project proposals against the Strategic Results Framework
- Coordinate review, approval and tracking of project reports
- Promote knowledge-management platforms and effective use of PRIMA across the mission
- Identify project opportunities and calls for proposals and support policy and report development
- Develop regional and multi-country projects with mission leadership
- Support regional engagement on the IOM Development Fund, Flexible Funding and Global Appeal
- Prepare reports, presentations, talking points, speeches, statements and briefings
- Maintain mission knowledge-management processes and coordinate partner requests when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, Migration Studies, International Relations, Law or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in such a field
- Experience with migration issues, including operational or field work, project management and project development
- Experience liaising with government, national or international institutions, the private sector and non-governmental organisations
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
- Venezuelan citizenship or valid residence and work authorisation in Venezuela
