Responsibilities

  • Identify funding opportunities, donor priorities and entry points for the regional funding pipeline
  • Support concept note, project proposal and programme development for quality and strategic coherence
  • Engage donors, financial institutions and partners to advance IOM positioning and partnerships
  • Guide country offices on business development priorities, portfolios and strategic pipelines
  • Coordinate implementation of sub-regional resource mobilisation priorities
  • Promote use of data, evidence and strategic analysis in business development
  • Develop guidance, tools and lessons learned for regional business development
  • Support coherent regional messaging on resource mobilisation priorities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in political or social sciences, business administration, international relations, law or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with seven years
  • Solid experience in resource mobilisation, programme development, donor engagement and advisory support
  • Experience in Project Cycle Management and Results-Based Management
  • Experience with migration issues, including operational or field experience, IOM project development, management and reporting
  • Experience liaising with governmental authorities, donors, academia, national or international institutions and NGOs
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
