Responsibilities

  • Advise the FAO Representative on portfolio coherence, programme positioning and delivery oversight
  • Coordinate management follow-up across FAOCI projects using dashboards, reviews, risk tracking and budget monitoring
  • Backstop the GCF-funded flagship project across work planning, delivery review, safeguards, reporting and scale-up
  • Promote synergies across climate, biodiversity, aquaculture and food systems projects
  • Lead climate-finance and donor intelligence analysis and support resource mobilisation planning
  • Engage government, donors, IFIs, UN agencies and private-sector actors on programme priorities
  • Quality assure project documents, donor reports, budgets and partner deliverables
  • Strengthen results-based management, monitoring, reporting, data quality and learning

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in a relevant agrifood, climate finance, public policy, programme management or development field, or bachelor’s degree plus two additional years
  • At least 10 years of progressively senior international experience in programme or portfolio management, strategic advisory, resource mobilisation, donor relations, climate finance, agrifood systems or emergency/development coordination
  • Working knowledge of French and English
