Responsibilities

  • Review Ukrainian legislation against EU equality requirements
  • Draft legal and policy proposals for gender-responsive accession
  • Advise government institutions on inclusion and gender mainstreaming
  • Facilitate consultations, workshops and capacity development
  • Prepare analytical reports and practical recommendations

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in law, public policy, international relations, gender studies, social sciences or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience
  • At least one year of relevant experience after a master’s degree in human rights, gender equality, governance or public administration
  • Experience providing legal support to Ukrainian government institutions on EU accession
  • Knowledge of the EU acquis and gender equality principles
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian
