Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on integrating gender equality across mission policies and operations
- Maintain baseline analysis of mission performance on gender equality and mainstreaming
- Develop and update the mission gender mainstreaming strategy and annual action plan
- Coordinate and guide the Gender Focal Point Support Network
- Design and deliver capacity-building sessions on gender mainstreaming
- Prepare analytical briefings, reports and updates on gender commitments
- Guide programme units on gender-responsive design, monitoring and evaluation
- Build partnerships with local counterparts, civil society and international actors
Requirements
- Second-level university degree in gender studies, social sciences, political sciences, international relations, public policy, law or a related field, or first-level degree with two additional years of experience
- At least six years of progressively responsible professional experience in gender equality and gender mainstreaming
- At least three years of relevant management-level experience
- International field experience addressing gender equality and womens empowerment in the OSCE region
- Knowledge of gender mainstreaming methodologies, tools and best practices
- Professional fluency in English with strong analytical, drafting and reporting skills
- Ability to use standard computer applications including MS Word, PowerPoint and email
- Candidates must not be nationals or permanent residents of the duty-station country

- Candidates may need to apply through their national authorities before the OSCE deadline
- Suitable interviewed candidates may be placed on a three-year roster for fixed-term seconded posts
