Monitoring Assistant

Monitors WFP field interventions in Matam, linking partners and communities with programme teams, checking operational quality, collecting reliable data and reporting results. The role supports accountable food assistance, resilience, nutrition and school-feeding activities across assigned sites.

• Plan and organise field activities with partners and communities
• Monitor implementation quality, schedules and compliance with WFP procedures
• Conduct site visits and track programme outputs and performance indicators
• Collect and validate quantitative and qualitative data using digital field tools
• Support beneficiary targeting, registration and verification exercises
• Promote complaint, feedback, protection, inclusion and gender mechanisms
• Prepare field reports and contribute to periodic programme reporting
• Coordinate with local authorities, community leaders and implementation partners

• Completed secondary education
• At least five years of field-activity experience
• Fluency in spoken and written French

• Fixed-term appointment for 12 months
• Expected start date is January 2027
