Responsibilities
- Develop logistics plans and processes in line with WFP policies and standards
- Coordinate supply chain CBT and retail activities, including market assessments and retailer performance
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, receipt, storage and dispatch
- Support implementation of food safety and quality assurance guidelines
- Analyse operational data and recommend actions to improve local logistics performance
- Contribute to financial analysis, budget reviews and use of available funds
- Guide support staff and act as a technical referral point
- Support emergency logistics preparedness and assigned emergency response duties
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in transport economics, supply chain, logistics, engineering, business management or another related field, or first university degree with additional related work experience or training
- Over five years of experience in food safety and quality, procurement, logistics or supply chain management supporting integrated operational processes, including at least one year of hands-on professional experience
- Fluency in oral and written English and Arabic
