Responsibilities
- Conduct market scans for core relief item suppliers in target regions
- Analyse supplier quality, pricing and compliance against UNHCR technical specifications
- Recommend suppliers for pilot tenders and proximity sourcing strategies
- Engage stakeholders through virtual and in-person supplier assessments
- Prepare supplier profiles, market assessments and analytical reports
- Collect and harmonise project inputs for donor reporting
- Support capacity-building materials, field engagement tools and preparation of supplier facility visits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, procurement, business administration, public administration, law or a relevant field; candidates with a first-level degree may be considered with additional relevant experience
- One year of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or no experience with a graduate or doctorate degree
- Relevant experience in public-sector procurement, supply chain management or related fields
- Demonstrated experience conducting procurement reviews and managing complex procurement processes
