Job Description

The UNDP intern supports communications in Dili by creating social-media and visual content, preparing outreach materials and assisting events. The assignment also maintains stakeholder contacts, coordinates knowledge products and logistics, and helps implement the office communications workplan.

  • Draft social-media posts and digital content
  • Create infographics and other visual materials
  • Prepare communication and outreach products
  • Support events, campaigns and communications logistics
  • Help implement the communications workplan
  • Coordinate knowledge products with programme colleagues
  • Maintain stakeholder and media contact databases

Role Requirements

  • Current postgraduate enrolment, final-year bachelor enrolment, graduation within the previous year, or participation in a postgraduate professional traineeship
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • English proficiency

Desired Criteria

  • Academic background in communications, journalism, media, international relations, development studies or a related field
  • Experience with Canva, Power BI or Adobe Creative Suite
